I tried to add the rules manually, but that doesn't work because tinywall also prevents modifications done by anything other than itself. eg: when I add the rule, and then refresh or close the windows firewall interface and reopen it, the rule is gone.

I use Tinywall to whitelist internet access to only a couple programs (which have been added to my 'exceptions' list through a combination of autolearn mode and selecting 'whitelist by window'. However - depending on the particular network - tinywall seems to block the internet entirely (when I connect to the network, I'll get the No internet, secured message though the internet will work if I turn tinywall off and reconnect). I'm seem unable to connect to any new networks and some networks I've previously connected to don't connect. Some networks will connect when they feel like it. I'm not sure what the problem is with the way tinywall is blocking things but I can always connect after disabling it.

Because TinyWall is a free firewall it does not have a dedicated social media or website client support section. So for all inquiries and doubts, one can only email tinywall@pados.hu. This is definitely the main downside of TinyWall as other free firewalls also available for Windows do count with better customer support. See our comparison of Windows Defender and pfSense for one example. be457b7860
