Dr. Mohan Bansal (Senior Member, IEEE) is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sonepat, India. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2020, an M.Tech. from NIT Kurukshetra, and a B.E. from RGTU Bhopal. His doctoral research focused on speech signal processing using the Multicomponent AFM signal model.

With over six years of academic experience, he has previously worked at VIT-AP University. His research interests include speech signal processing, biomedical signal processing, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision. He has published multiple patents and research papers in high-impact journals and conferences.

Dr. Bansal has been a Guest Editor for a special issue on Deep Learning in Audio and Speech Processing and has served on the Technical Program Committee (TPC) of major IEEE conferences. He was honored with the Best Faculty Award and Research Award (2022-23) at VIT-AP. He actively contributes to faculty development programs (FDPs) and research supervision.

A dedicated researcher and educator, Dr. Bansal continues to advance AI-driven solutions in speech and biomedical signal processing for real-world applications.
