Dr. Mohan Bansal (Senior Member, IEEE) received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Technological University (RGTU), Bhopal, India, in 2008, and his M.Tech. degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, India, in 2011. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India, in 2020. During his master's and Ph.D. studies, he was awarded an MHRD fellowship.

In 2022-23, he received the Best Faculty Award and the Research Award at VIT-AP University, Amaravati. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sonepat, Sonipat, India, with over 6 years of experience in teaching and academia. He has also served as a guest editor for the special issue on "Advanced Deep Learning Methods for Audio and Speech Processing" in the Science Publishing Group.

Dr. Bansal has published several patents and research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and serves as a reviewer for reputed journals and conferences. His research interests include biomedical signal processing, speech signal processing, image processing, computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning.
