WELCOME TO MY PERSONAL WEBSITE!

I am an Associate Professor in the Finance Department at IÉSEG School of Management, Lille Campus. I currently teach courses for masters and bachelors students in the Grande Ecole Program. I completed my PhD from Esade Business School specializing in Corporate Finance in July, 2020.

My keen research interest in Corporate Governance, Empirical Corporate Finance, Corporate Sustainability, and International Finance is visible in journal publications (Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, European Financial Management, International Review of Financial Analysis, and Finance Research Letters) as well as in several working papers that are in various stages of journal submissions. I have participated and presented research papers in a large number of international conferences including FMA International Annual Meetings (2019), EFMA Annual Meetings (2023; 2022; 2019; 2018), FMA European Conference (2023; 2019; 2018), Corporate Finance Day (2019), Conference on CSR, the Economy and Financial Markets (2022), Finance Forum of Spanish Finance Association (2019; 2018; 2017), Annual Conference of Multinational Finance Society (2017), Financial Management and Corporate Governance Conference (2018; 2017) and FMARC Conference (2022; 2019). My PhD thesis proposal was nominated for best paper/proposal at the PhD Symposium (FMCG 2018) and the paper "Governance, Information Flow and Stock Returns: Evidence from a Natural Experiment" was a semi-finalist for the award of best paper at the FMA Anuual Meeting (2019) and the award of best paper in corporate finance at the  EFMA Annual Meetings (2019).

Prior to pursuing PhD, I completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Medical Electronics from VTU, India; a twin certification of Post Graduate Certificate in Planning & Entrepreneurship (from IIPM, India) and Master of Business Administration (from IMI, Belgium); a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Management from Dr. CVRU, India; and Master of Research (MRes) in Management Sciences (from Esade -- Universitat Ramon Llull). 

My administrative and teaching experience in academia comes from previous employments in various business schools in India. These positions include: Associate Dean of Windsor Institute of Management Studies, which was affiliated to University of Mysore (www.uni-mysore.ac.in), and Visiting Faculty of Mathematics and Finance at IIPM-Bangalore (www.iipm.edu), IBS Business School (www.ibsindia.org), BMS Centre for Executive Education and Distance Learning (www.bmsceedl.com), National Institute of Business Excellence and RJS Institute of Management Studies (www.rjsims.edu.in). Previously, I was also associated with IIPM Bangalore, as a Senior Program Manager and an Academics Coordinator, where I handled academic planning and implementation processes for seven post graduate batches and five under graduate batches during my tenure. I have conducted workshops and seminars on Ideation and Idea Management at leading B-schools across India, and also guided start up projects and master theses on regular basis.
