Mohammad Mehrabi

I am a postdoctoral scholar in Operations, Information & Technology at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where I am fortunate to be advised by Stefan Wager  and Ömer Karaduman. In 2023, I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from the Data Sciences and Operations Department at the USC Marshall School of Business, where I had the privilege of being supervised by  Adel Javanmard .

My research focuses on dynamic, uncertainty-aware, data-driven decision making, with a special emphasis on contemporary problems in data science and operations research. I develop novel solutions to address these challenges, with careful attention to their efficiency, optimality, reliability, and robustness. To achieve this, I utilize tools from applied probability, statistics, and the latest advancements in machine learning.

I have been fortunate enough to receive the USC Marshall Outstanding Researcher Award, the USC Marshall Graduate Fellowship, and an honorable mention for the USC CAMS Graduate Student Prize 2023 for excellence in research with a substantial mathematical component.
