Moet Connect (the “App”) is provided by the Ministry of Economy & Tourism – United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, “our”).
This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Depending on how you use the App and what permissions you give, we may collect:
a) Account and contact data

Used to: create and manage your account, provide services through the App, and contact you about the App (for example, support or important updates).
b) Health data (sensitive data)
If you allow it, the App may read health and fitness data from your device or connected services, such as:
Steps, distance, activity time, calories
Heart rate
Sleep information
Other health metrics provided by your device or health platform
Used to:
Show your activity and wellness information in the App
Provide statistics, progress, and related wellness or engagement features
Improve these features in an anonymised or aggregated way
We do not sell your health data and we do not use health data for advertising or marketing profiling.
c) Device and usage data
Device model, operating system, language
How you use the App (screens visited, clicks, session duration)
Crash and performance data
Used to: make the App work correctly, improve performance, and maintain security.
d) Location data (only if enabled)
If you grant permission, we may use your location (approximate or precise, depending on your device settings) to provide location-based features such as relevant local content or services.
You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings. Some features may then not work as intended.
We may share your data:
With trusted service providers who host, maintain, or analyse the App on our behalf
When required by law, regulation, or court order
We do not sell your personal data or health data.
You can:
Edit or remove information in your profile (where available)
Turn off permissions (health, location, notifications, etc.) in your device settings
Disconnect linked services (for example, health platforms or wearables)

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
We keep your data only as long as needed to:
Provide the App and its features
Fulfil the purposes described in this policy
Meet legal or regulatory requirements
After that, we delete or anonymise the data in line with applicable laws and our internal policies.
Moet Connect is not intended for children under 18 years of age, unless clearly stated for specific government programs with appropriate consent and safeguards.
If you believe a child’s data has been provided to us without proper consent, please contact us and we will review and act as required.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. If you continue to use the App after changes become effective, you accept the updated policy.
