In such a time of political upheaval, offering students the opportunity to be educated and involved in civic activism is a necessity. Although Perry High School offers other political clubs, students of either label feel these clubs do not offer a secure environment for their beliefs. Just as the founders intended, we want to stop supporting the current partisanship, and help this young generation mend divisions our older generations could not.
Our goals are to engage younger citizens in the political atmosphere in order to create lasting change.
We want to continue the fight for women's rights, racial equality, safety for the LGBTQ+ community, protection for immigrants, stop the war on the environment, and end gun violence.
