We respect our users' privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our game, including downloading and running the game through Google Play.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using this game, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect may vary depending on how you interact with the game, the device you use, and the permissions you grant. The information we collect can be divided into the following categories:
* a) Directly provided information:
* Username/Nickname: If you create an account or set up a profile in the game, you may choose to provide a username or nickname to identify you in the game. This is not your real name.
* Contact information: If you contact us directly for support through in-game functions or email, you may provide your email address or communication content.
* b) Information collected automatically (necessary for game operation or to improve the experience):
* Device information: We will collect your device type (such as mobile phone, tablet), operating system (such as Android version), device unique identifier (such as advertising ID), device name, model, language setting, time zone information.
* Performance data and crash reports: We collect data about the operation of the game, such as game loading time, response speed, function usage, and diagnostic reports automatically generated when a crash or error occurs (which may include device status, event logs, timestamps).
* Game progress and archive data: In order to save your game progress (such as level completion, achievements, unlocked content, in-game currency and items, settings, etc.), we will collect local device data or use cloud storage services.
* Game log information: In order to operate the game and ensure security, we will collect specific log information during the game (such as login time, in-game behavior records-excluding purchase records).
* c) Information collected using third-party services:
* Advertising information: If you choose to watch ads to get in-game rewards, our integrated advertising networks may collect information to provide personalized ads. This typically includes an advertising ID (such as Google Advertising ID - AAID), which can be reset or disabled by you through your device settings.
* In-app purchase information: When you make an in-app purchase through Google Play (buying in-game currency, items, expansion packs, etc.), Google Play processes your payment and tells us whether the transaction was successful and information about the purchased item. We do not directly receive or store your full payment information (such as bank card number).
* Analytics data: In order to understand how players use our games, which features are popular, and identify problem areas, we use analytics services (such as Google Analytics for Firebase, Unity Analytics). These services collect anonymized or aggregated game interaction data (such as the number of game launches, game time, number of level attempts, frequency of feature use).
2. How we use the collected information
We use the collected information mainly for the following purposes:
* Provide and operate games: Enable you to download, install and play games, save and restore your progress, manage accounts (if any), and support multi-device synchronization.
* Maintain and improve the game: Diagnose and fix crashes and errors, optimize game performance, and improve game content, features, and user experience based on player feedback and data analysis.
* Personalized experience: Display personalized content (such as ads) based on your preferences and interests to improve relevance if you choose to turn on the relevant permissions and agree. (Note: Personalized ads rely on advertising IDs, which users can control)
* Process transactions: Process in-app purchase orders initiated by you through Google Play.
* Customer support: Respond to your inquiries, requests, and provide technical support.
* Analysis and research: Analyze game usage patterns, understand player behavior, measure the effectiveness of features and advertising campaigns, and conduct market research to guide future game development.
* Security and fraud prevention: Ensure the safe operation of the game, detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or other illegal activities.
3. Information Disclosure and Sharing
We only disclose your personal information in the following circumstances or when required by law:
* a) Service Providers: We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate games and provide services (for example:
* Cloud storage providers: used to store game archives.
* Ad networks: used to serve ads in games (such as AdMob, Unity Ads, Vungle, AppLovin).
* Analytics service providers: used to analyze usage data (such as Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics).
* Payment processors: Google Play is the exclusive processor of in-app purchases and they process payment data.
* Attribution analysis services: used to analyze advertising effectiveness.
* Customer support platforms: These service providers can only use your information to perform specific services on our behalf and are subject to strict confidentiality obligations.
* b) Legal Requirements and Security: If we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, regulation, subpoena, or government request; to protect our rights, property, or safety or the rights, property, or safety of others; to investigate fraud; or to respond to requests from law enforcement agencies.
* c) Business Transfer: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, financing, or bankruptcy/reorganization, your information may be transferred, but we will notify you before the information becomes subject to the applicable privacy policy.
* d) With your consent: We will share information with your explicit consent.
4. Game Permission Request
In order for the full functionality of the game to work properly, we may request certain device permissions when you install the game or during the game. When requesting permissions, we will explain their purpose, and you can always refuse or change the permission grant status in the device settings. Here are the permissions we may request in the game and their purposes:
* Network access (INTERNET):
* Purpose: Almost a must-have permission. Used to download game resources, connect to game servers (online features, multiplayer games, cloud saves), load ads, send analytical data, and check for updates. This permission is usually a required permission.
* Check network connection (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE):
* Purpose: Check the current network status of the device (such as whether there is a WiFi or mobile data connection) to help the game manage online functions (such as prompting or avoiding attempts to connect when there is no network) and optimize the experience (such as downloading large resource packages only when there is WiFi). Often requested together with network access permission. This permission is usually a required permission.
* Storage access:
* Request permission name:
"READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" and/or
"WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" (for earlier Android versions), or
"MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" (for specific situations, use with caution and Google Play has strict review), for Android 11 (API 30+), Scoped Storage is more recommended.
* Purpose: Read or write your device's external storage (such as SD card or internal storage). Used for:
* Save and read game archives, settings files, cache files (such as pictures, level data).
* May need to import/export specific game files.
* (Note: It is strongly recommended that developers follow Android's Scoped Storage principles and only access specific file directories required by the game).
* Processing: We will specify the storage purpose (only for the game's own archive data) and will not access your other files for no reason. You can refuse, but this may cause the game to be unable to save progress or load necessary resources, affecting basic game functions.
* Access Advertising Identifier (AD_ID):
* Purpose: Allow the game to access the device's advertising ID (AAID). Mainly used to show you personalized ads (if you allow ad personalization in the device settings), and for ad measurement and attribution (for example, tracking which ad brought a certain installation or purchase). You can reset or disable personalized ads in the device's Google settings (or similar locations).
* Processing: This permission is usually necessary in games that rely on advertising. Refusal usually affects ad-related functions (such as not being able to get rewards by watching ads), but does not affect core gameplay.
* Get precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)/Get approximate location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION):
* Purpose:
* (Strongly recommend not using location permissions unless necessary) If the game function really needs it (such as geo-based gameplay, leaderboards in a specific region, regional activities), we will request location permissions and clearly state the purpose.
* Some advertising networks may request location information to provide more relevant localized ads (but usually advertising networks will infer the approximate location through the IP address, and do not necessarily need explicit location permissions).
* Processing: Location permissions are sensitive permissions and are usually not required for the core functions of the game. You can choose to refuse. Unless the core functions of the game rely heavily on precise location (extremely rare), refusal should not affect the main gameplay of the game.
5. Your rights and controls
* Ads personalization: You can reset your advertising ID or turn off ads personalization through your device's Settings app > Google (or Privacy) > Ads. This will affect the types of ads you see in all apps.
* Permission Management: You can review and modify the status of permissions you have granted at any time in your device's Settings > Apps > Permissions.
* In-App Purchase Management: You can manage your subscriptions and purchase limits through the in-app purchase settings in the Google Play Store.
* Data Deletion Request: If you would like us to delete information directly held about you from our servers (e.g. information about your contact via support emails, associated identifiers in analytics/crash data - technically this may involve anonymizing data), please contact us using our contact information (see Section 8). Please note: Deleting local game saves requires you to delete your account in the game (if this feature is available) or uninstall the game. Data saved to device storage is usually deleted after uninstalling the game.
* Access to Information (Limited): We generally hold very little directly identifiable personal information. If you need, you can request access through our contact information (Section 8).
* Opt-out of marketing information: If we send any marketing information through the contact information you provide, it will include an opt-out method.
6. Children's Privacy
Our games are not designed directly for children under the age of 13 (or other applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete that information from our records.
If a parent or guardian discovers that their child has provided us with information without their consent, please contact us using the contact information in Section 8.
(Important: If your game is for children or contains elements that may attract children, you must comply with child privacy regulations such as COPPA, which require stricter privacy protection measures and a clearer parental consent process. This template does not meet COPPA requirements. Be sure to modify and comply with the Google Play Families policy)
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. When the information is no longer needed, we will take steps to securely delete or anonymize it.
Device information, log information, and analytical data: retained based on operational and security needs, usually no longer associated with individuals after aggregation or anonymization.
Game saves: Retained until you delete your in-game account or uninstall the game (unless stored in the cloud and have a retention period).
Support information: Retained for a period of time after resolving your issue for quality assurance and record keeping purposes.
8. Security
We work hard to use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
Our servers or service providers may be located outside of your country, which means your information may be transferred to or stored in countries outside of your jurisdiction. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country. We will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place during transfer (such as by following standard contractual clauses) or that transfers are made only with your consent.
10. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top and provide reminders of material changes in-game or through app store notifications. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to learn how we are protecting your information.
