Mr. Bhupesh Banerjee is the person who came up with the idea of making a model village where people will be financially secured by producing household items and selling them in local markets. After talking to Dr. Dilip K. Som, it was decided to pick a village in Canning where Dr. Som has been working since 2005.

Mr. Bhupesh Banerjee was born in 1931. He has an immense amount of energy to make his dream come true.

He has experience in management in more than 10 companies throughout India for over 50 years.
