I had to return it the same day as the threads stripped. On the side of the versalight (and mobilights as the housing are similar), the metal screw that tightens is bored into a plastic hole. Can you imagine that! The hole was entirely drilled out of hard plastic, of course it stripped the first time I tightened down on it. The hole should have been bored out of metal as well. I returned the lights to Adorama and used the credit and bought German made Hensel lights. Great lights but accessories are expensive. I have heard from Adorama that JTL has fixed this problem by retrofitting their housings. As I only used the lights for one day, I wasnt able to fully evaluate the lights. I too am interested in the mobilight, if its flakey, I'll just keep it for the cheap batteries to power my camera.
