Welcome Back to Mobile, Amtrak!

We are so excited that Amtrak has finally returned to Mobile! With the groundbreaking behind us, now we wait for the temporary platform and rail to be built, and tickets to start being sold.

We hope to see service start in February or March of 2025.

Since Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, passenger rail service between Mobile and New Orleans has stopped. They are now bringing it back, and we all need to do our part to help make it a success.
