2. About the App

APK Extractor & Analyzer allows users to:

• Extract APK/XAPK files from installed applications

• Backup installed apps

• Share APK files

• Analyze application package information

• Reinstall exported packages

All extraction and analysis processes are performed locally on your device.

3.1 Information Processed Locally on Your Device

The following information is processed locally and does not leave your device.

Installed Applications

The App uses the Android permission QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES to display installed applications so users can select apps for extraction and backup.

Application Metadata

The App may read:

• Package name

• Version number

• Install/update date

• App icon

• APK size

This information is used only for display, sorting, filtering, and analysis features inside the App.

APK/XAPK Files

APK or XAPK files selected by the user are stored only on the user’s device in locations chosen by the user.

We do not upload or share these files.

App Preferences

Settings such as:

• Default save folder

• Backup preferences

• Naming format

• Theme settings

• Auto-backup configuration

are stored locally on the device.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use trusted third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, and crash reporting.

Google AdMob

Used to display advertisements inside the App.

AdMob may collect:

5. Permissions Used

QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES

Required to display installed applications so users can select apps for extraction and backup.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

(Android 9 and below only)

Used to save exported APK files to device storage.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS

Used to display extraction, backup, and completion notifications.

FOREGROUND_SERVICE

Used to keep extraction or backup operations running reliably in the background.

REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES

Used only when the user chooses to install an APK/XAPK file from inside the App.

REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES

Used only when the user chooses to uninstall an application from inside the App.

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Used to restore scheduled auto-backup functionality after device reboot if enabled by the user.

REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS

Optional permission used to improve reliability of long-running background backup tasks on some devices.

6. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or access:

• Contacts

• SMS messages

• Call history

• Camera data

• Microphone audio

• Photos or videos

• Precise GPS location

• Calendar data

• Passwords or account credentials

We do not:

• Sell user data

• Upload extracted APK files to our servers

• Use user data for AI model training

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data Retention

Most App data remains only on your device until:

• The App is uninstalled

• App data is cleared by the user

Crash reports processed by Firebase may be retained according to Google’s standard retention policies.

9. International Data Transfers

Some third-party services operated by Google may process limited technical information on servers located in multiple countries, including:
