I am currently assistant professor at the American University of the Middle East, Kuwait. Formerly, I was lecturer (assistant professor) at the Department of Economics - University of Essex. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBSEM), Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). 

My main fields of research are applied microeconomics, contract theory, game theory and development economics. I am also interested in environmental economics with a focus on energy efficiency and climate change.
