You must contact the architectural committee before doing any exterior modification, painting, re-roofing, or similar projects that have an impact on the "curb appeal" of the property and neighborhood. This is a requirement per the CC&R that you signed when purchasing your property. You can reach the committee my emailing mmh3arch(at)googlegroups.com.
