Mannerheimin lastensuojeluliiton Oulaisten yhdistys is an association which works for children, young people and families locally in Oulainen. The local association was established in 1923 and we are an active and open group. Mannerheimin lastensuojeluliitto is a nationwide organisation that works all around Finland: https://www.mll.fi/en/

Our association operates entirely on a voluntary basis; we welcome new faces and new ideas. Do you wish us to provide some sort of activity; International family cafe, talking group for moms or dads, family sports events, etc.? Send us a mail and we will see what we can do.

The regular meetings at Perhekahvila (family café) are open for everyone and free of charge. It is a place where you can spend time together in a free-form way, without a schedule. Perhekahvila is open on Fridays @ 9.30-12.00 and on the last Wednesday of every month @ 17.00-19.00. Little breakfast / night snack is available for 2€/family, you can give requests about the food for the volunteer instructors. Perhekahvila is located in Oulaistenkatu 37 A, on the basement floor; entrance from the river side of the building.  See you there! 

Perhekahvila's clothes recycling station has a lot of clothes and shoes for the children, come see if there's something your family could use. Open during regular meeting hours (see above).
