2024 National Holiday Observance

The Bulloch County Branch of the NAACP cordially invites you to be our honored guest at the 2024 National Holiday Observance parade on Monday, January 15, 2024 which commemorates the life and legacy of the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  In remembering the work of Dr. King, we display the very best of America in terms of our strength and endurance to overcome and succeed.

Honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is not only for celebration and remembrance, education and tribute, but above all a time of service. It is a time of interracial and intercultural cooperation and sharing. No other time of the year brings so many people from different cultural backgrounds together in such a vibrant spirit of brother and sisterhood. This year the theme is "Thrive: In Movement. In Culture. In Community". Your presence during this special event would mean so much to the success of this noble endeavor.

The parade will be held at 2p.m. in downtown Statesboro, GA featuring elected officials, marching bands, community organizations, businesses, colorful floats and much more.
