The ML4Space Summer School is a week-long event that focuses on utilizing Machine Learning (ML) methods in the field of Space. It welcomes university students at graduate academic levels (Master's, or PhD), ML professionals wishing to work with Space applications, and Space professionals seeking to develop their Machine Learning skills.

The Summer School ML4Space will be held in Lisbon (Portugal) at the Department of Computer Science of NOVA School of Science and Technology.

Program
During this week, we will be covering the fundamental concepts of Machine Learning and its applications in Space. It is not necessary to have any prior knowledge to participate in this course, besides basic programming skills. Previous knowledge of Algebra and Probability and Statistics will help, but is not mandatory. There will be a significant emphasis on hands-on experience, including lab sessions and a 2-day Hackathon. For more information about the program, please refer to the schedule provided here.
