Research Interests:
Physical chemistry and spectroscopy, applied to diverse topics such as:
Coupled organic molecules (e.g. , molecular aggregates, thin films, or dimers) with special interest in singlet fission;
Charge transport and spectroscopy of minerals and rocks;
Vibrational and electronic spectroscopy of carotenoids or other conjugated oligomers;
Spectroscopy of excited-states, over timescales from femtoseconds to seconds;
Advanced solar cells
Interdisciplinary interests include:
Materials, Physical organic chemistry, Biophysics, Earth and planetary science.
