Nature
I am deeply in love with nature and plants attract me the most. This page provides an evolving list of some of my favorite plants and trees. I hope you will be mesmerized by their unique and stunning foliage.
Ravenala Madagascariensis
This plant/tree is commonly known as traveller's tree or traveller's palm. It is a native of Madagascar and has a brilliant banana tree leaves in the form of a fan. The plant can grow extremely tall and wide and can offer a nice background foliage for a garden.
Bird of Paradise
Bird of Paradise is a type of a bush that bears strikingly bright colored flowers. The flowers take the shape of a heavenly bird, thus giving its name. It is one of my favorite must-haves for a garden.
Cherry Tree
The Cherry trees are relatively short and wide trees with long horizontally spreading branches. The blooming of pink flowers on the leafless stems in the start of the spring result create a heavenly atmosphere and cannot escape anyone's attention. The cherry blossom is celebrated in Japan as a festival known as Sakura.
Weeping Willow
The weeping willow is a green tree with long falling branches. It is ideally planted near lakes and ponds. Gives a serene look hiding the background and can make any place look like a holiday resort.
Polyalthia longifolia
Polyalthia longifolia, also referred to as the false Ashoka is a thin vertically growing plant which can grow significantly tall. It has beautiful downward growing dual color leaves that give a refreshing look. It looks more stunning when these trees are planted in a row.
