Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in Accounting at Columbia Business School. I am on the 2025-26 academic job market.
My research focuses on the role of financial reporting in capital markets. I study how behavioral and institutional frictions in information acquisition and processing influence the incorporation of accounting information into capital markets.
I am a value investor. Outside of academic research, I study out-of-favor stocks with durable competitive advantages and strength to generate long-term cash flows.
Between 2013 and 2015, I served in the 2nd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army as a member of the Korean Augmentation to the U.S. Army.
