After several years working in the fashion industry, I attended Queens College where I quickly attained my visual arts teaching license.
In addition to an Arts license, I obtained licenses in General as well as Special Education in order to meet the various learning needs of my students.
I am currently in my 13th year of teaching Art to approximately 700+ students from Pre-K through the fifth grade.
As a life long learner and lover of the arts, I enrolled in online classes in order to learn new ways to enhance the visual arts curriculum through the use of technology.
In my free time, I enjoy visiting museums, sculpture gardens and learning about new artists and techniques. I also have a dog that I love to take on walks to the park. (See his picture below.)
