What is Digital Law?
Digital law encompasses responsibility for online behaviors and the development of guidelines that regulate the digital space. Like the real world, the online environment needs protective measures against harm, and school administrators must create effective strategies to tackle issues such as cyberbullying.
Examples of Digital Law:
Privacy and Data Protection- Students learn the importance of protecting their personal information online. Lessons include understanding what information is safe to share and discussing laws related to data protection.
Responsible Use Policies—Implement and explain the Acceptable Use Policy regarding technology and the Internet. Students learn about the rules and guidelines for using school devices and networks, including the consequences of violating these rules.
