At Alliance Treks and Expedition, we believe tourism should give back to the communities and landscapes that make every journey possible.
For more than three decades, we have worked to create trekking experiences that benefit local people, support responsible employment, protect mountain environments, and encourage meaningful cultural exchange.
Our flagship community initiative, Mission Ganesh Himal (MGH), supports education, health, environmental sustainability, and responsible tourism in the remote villages of Ruby Valley, Dhading.

From our home to the wider world. Ruby Valley is more than a trekking destination for us — it is home.
Our founder, Kul Bahadur Gurung, was born and raised in this region, and many of our guides and team members come from the surrounding communities.
Mission Ganesh Himal began in 2013 with a simple idea:
Listen to the community, understand its needs, and work together to create lasting change.
What began as a small local initiative has grown into a long-term community program involving local volunteers, international students, medical professionals, schools, families, and tourism partners.

Health check-ups, medicine distribution, health awareness programs, preventive care, and support for villagers in remote communities.
📚 EDUCATION
School support, classroom activities, English practice, educational materials, and women's literacy initiatives.

Greenhouse projects, sustainable farming, environmental awareness, and initiatives designed to encourage responsible use of local resources.
🏔️ TOURISM
Cultural exchange, responsible trekking, local employment, community-based tourism, and promotion of Ruby Valley as a sustainable destination.
