Miss Battershell's 5th Grade

My name is Holly Battershell and I am very excited to be your 5th grade teacher this year! This is my eighth year teaching at Green. I am excited to be your 5th grade teacher because I decided that I wanted to become a teacher when I was in 5th grade. I grew up in Pleasanton (with a short break in Virginia). I attended UCLA for my undergraduate work and Saint Mary's College of California for my credential and masters. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, running, going to the beach, and playing with my cat, Rory. I went to Colorado, Pennsylvania, Idaho, and Seattle over summer. I caught my first fish and tried archery for the first time too! I'm looking forward to a great school year together!
