Digital Etiquette is the 4th element of Digital Citizenship. Digital Etiquette refers to electronic standards of conduct or procedures and has to do with the process of thinking about others when using digital devices. Teachers can include Digital Etiquette as part of the classroom rules or academic goals. Whether in the classroom or online, being aware of others is an important idea for everyone.
Digital Etiquette is how you interact with others when using digital devices. It is important for you and your child to remember that when interacting or communicating with others online, there is always a person with feelings and emotions on the other end. Good practices of Digital Etiquette include using good language, respecting others' privacy, and reporting inappropriate content.
