Teaching Philosophy

"The happiest thing in the world is to struggle for learning."

Be happy to learn.

To learn English well, we have to get a lot of exposure with it. As an English teacher in primary education, my goal is that my students would enjoy making friends with “English”. Once students are familiar with having the other language in their life, they are more possible to use it well. However, to make a foreign language more approachable for kids is my job.

Diverse activity

I love language because it can be anything in our lives and everywhere in the world. Therefore, learning a language can not be only one way. In my class, I design diverse activities to every lesson. Take five senses for example, I introduce an experiment to my students. We take five senses for granted in our daily life. During the experiment, kids close their eyes, hold their noses, and they cannot tell the flavor of fruit jelly. Through the experiment, kids have a strong impression on sense. And this is where the cross-curricular competencies really come into play. I value every child in my classroom so I try to create diverse activities to care about every type of my students.

Active Learning

As an educator, my ultimate goal is to make my student become an independent learner. An independent learner is confident with themselves.
