🚌 Bus & Pick-Up Tags
To help make arrival and dismissal as smooth and safe as possible, please attach your child’s bus/pick-up tag to their backpack before the first day of school.
This tag helps our staff quickly identify how each student will be arriving and going home each day.
đźš— Morning Drop-Off
For students who are dropped off by a parent/guardian and do not ride the bus, morning drop-off will begin promptly at 8:40 AM each day.
For everyone’s safety, please:
Remain in your vehicle until you reach the designated drop-off/crosswalk area near the side entrance.
A staff member will greet your child and let them know when it is safe to exit the vehicle.
Please wait for a staff member to assist your child before leaving.
Early Dismissal Procedure
If your child needs to be picked up early for an appointment or another reason, please follow these procedures:
All early pick-up requests must be submitted through Pick-Up Patrol by 11:00 AM.
Students needing an early dismissal must be picked up on or before 2:30 PM.
Early dismissals before 2:30 PM allow our staff to safely coordinate early pick-ups while preparing for regular dismissal.
For early pick-up, please report to the Fricano Primary vestibule at the main entrance and have a valid photo ID ready.
There will be no office pick-ups between 2:30–3:15 PM. Please plan appointments and pick-ups accordingly.

Dismissal Procedures
đźš— Parent Pick-Up
Please enter through Driveway “A” and follow the signs/staff directions to the Fricano playground visitor parking lot.
For safety reasons, please do not enter the pick-up line before 2:45 PM.
A staff member will direct you where to line up.
Your vehicle will be registered through our Parent Pick-Up Patrol (PUP) system. Please display your child’s last name clearly in the driver’s-side window or rearview mirror.
Continue driving as directed until you reach the designated pick-up area.
Fricano Pick-Up: 3:05–3:20 PM
RIS Pick-Up: 3:15–3:30 PM
Pick up students are dismissed at 3:05 from the classroom.
* You must also put your child’s absence in as well to the app.Â

Families with students at both Fricano and RIS should pick up their Fricano student first, then leave and enter the RIS pick-up line.
Please note: siblings will now be picked up at their respective buildings.

Throughout the school year, myself or Mrs. Depew will walk students to their buses and help them become familiar with their bus locations.
