PRIVACY POLICY FOR MISDIRECT MAZE

Effective Date: July 29, 2026

Last Updated: July 29, 2026

1. OVERVIEW

Misdirect Maze ("the App") is an offline Android game. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.

The App does not collect, transmit, share, or sell personal information. It does not require an account and does not connect to the internet.

2. INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY

To provide game functionality, the App stores the following information locally on the user's device:

- Nickname and selected avatar

- Level progress and earned stars

- Highest score and longest streak

- Discovered-rule count

- Tutorial completion status

- Game and accessibility settings

This information is stored in Android SharedPreferences and remains on the device. It is not transmitted to the developer or any third party. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for the App.

3. PERMISSIONS AND NETWORK ACCESS

The App declares no Android permissions. It does not use network APIs, remote servers, WebView content, location services, the camera, the microphone, contacts, device identifiers, or external storage.

4. ADVERTISING, ANALYTICS, AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting services, tracking technologies, social SDKs, login services, cloud synchronization, in-app purchases, or subscriptions.

5. SHARING AND SALE OF INFORMATION

The App does not share or sell personal information because it does not collect or receive personal information from the device.

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Locally stored information remains on the device until the user removes it. Users can delete it at any time by:

- Selecting "Reset Local Progress" in the App's Settings screen

- Clearing the App's storage in Android settings

- Uninstalling the App

Because the developer does not receive this information, no separate account or server-side deletion request is necessary.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. All game progress and settings remain locally on the device.

8. SECURITY

The App minimizes privacy risk by operating offline, requesting no Android permissions, and keeping game information on the user's device. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App's features or data practices change. Any revised policy will show a new "Last Updated" date and will be made available with the App before the relevant changes are released.

10. CONTACT

For privacy questions about Misdirect Maze, contact the developer using the public contact information shown on the App's Google Play store listing.
