Misbah Ul Hoque is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at California State University, Northridge. He completed both his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from the Division of Computer Science and Engineering at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. He received his B.Sc. (Engg.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, in 2013.

His broader research interests include multimodal data analytics, data mining, deep learning, image processing, natural language processing, and interdisciplinary research.
