About

I am Misbah Ul Hoque. I am a Graduate Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Kisung Lee at Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in CSE at LSU. I have been working as Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Green University of Bangladesh before taking study leave to pursue my doctoral study. I have been working for Green University of Bangladesh since my joining as Lecturer on May 2013. I have completed my B.Sc. (Engg.) in CSE from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2013. In addition to teaching, I have served as Chief Judge, Contest Director, Problem Setter and Coach in several programming contests around Bangladesh. My research interest spanning multiple areas of Computer Science and drifted me to work in Geospatial Data Analytics, Data Mining, Image Processing, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Semantic Web and Ontology Alignment.

I have worked in Semantic Knowledge Engineering and Intelligent Mining (SKEIM) Lab led by Prof. Dr. Md. Hanif Seddiqui from 2011 to 2013. I was also a member of Machine Learning and Data Mining Lab of the Green University of Bangladesh.

Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and Bioinformatics.
