CV in English

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers as part of the TREFLE department at I2M. Here, I'm working under the supervision of Thomas Milcent on the development of numerical methods for the simulation of fluid-structure interaction problems based on fully Eulerian models, with application to biological capsules.

Before that, I completed a PhD under the supervision of Mario Ricchiuto and Renato Paciorri (Sapienza, Rome), working in the CARDAMOM Team of INRIA Bordeaux. During these 3 years, I worked on several subjects related to the discretization of hyperbolic partial differential equations. In particular, I focused on the approximation of solutions featuring discontinuities with shock-fitting/shock-tracking methods, the development of consistent high-order boundary conditions, and the general well-balancing of hyperbolic balance laws. In these frameworks, the development of advanced immersed/embedded boundary methods and high-order space and time discretizations constitutes the main contributions.

During my previous studies, I graduated in Space and Astronautical Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome evaluated with "Summa Cum Laude". During this program, I spent 6 months studying at UPC (BarcelonaTech), and 3 months working at INRIA (Bordeaux) where I carried out my Master's thesis under the supervision of Mario Ricchiuto, Renato Paciorri and Aldo Bonfiglioli.
