Clean Dock is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this document carefully to understand our practices regarding your data and how we treat it.
To deliver and optimize our core cleaning and storage management services, we may collect the following categories of non-personal technical information. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, physical address, email address, or telephone number.
Device Information: We may access non-identifiable hardware and system details, including device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers, strictly for the purpose of ensuring application compatibility, diagnosing technical issues, and optimizing performance.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous, aggregated data regarding feature utilization and interaction patterns within the application. This information enables our technical team to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall user experience.
All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):
This permission is essential to the core functionality of Clean Dock. It enables the application to scan your device storage to identify and remove unnecessary files, including but not limited to system cache, temporary files, residual data, and duplicate or oversized files. All scanning, analysis, and deletion operations are performed exclusively on your device. We access only the file metadata (such as file type, size, and path) necessary to execute these functions; we do not read, access, or transmit the contents of your personal files.
We adhere to strict data minimization principles. Key aspects of our data processing include:
Local-Only Operations: All file scanning, junk identification, and cleaning processes are conducted entirely on your device. Personal files, photos, videos, and documents are neither uploaded to nor stored on any external servers.
Data Deletion upon Uninstallation: In accordance with standard data protection practices, if you uninstall Clean Dock, all temporary configuration files and application-generated records are permanently and automatically removed from your device.
Our application integrates with third-party services to support core functionality, advertising delivery, and performance analytics. These service providers may independently collect and process device identifiers and usage data in accordance with their respective privacy policies. Current providers include, but are not limited to:
Advertising: Google AdMob, AppLovin, and Meta Audience Network (Facebook).
Analytics: Google Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics for Firebase.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party providers to understand their data handling practices. Clean Dock does not control and is not responsible for the data collection, use, or disclosure practices of these independent entities.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the limited technical data we collect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is entirely secure; therefore, while we strive to use acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Clean Dock is a general utility application and is not directed to or intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such data from our records.
