Minsik Han - Spring 2022 MATH 0180

Hello everyone! This is a webpage specifically for section S03 of MATH 0180 (Intermediate Calculus), Spring 2022 semester.

All course-wide information (schedule, homework, exams, policies, etc.) are posted on Canvas (where you probably were before this page). On this page, I will upload my own lecture notes, which contain basically everything I talk in the lectures. I will also post some announcements which apply only for this section (I will send you emails as well if I have such announcements, so you do not have to visit this page regularly to check those).

If you have any questions about course structure, materials, or lecture notes, please do not hesitate to drop by during my office hours (see below) or send me an email! I will respond to emails in at most 24 hours except on weekends/holidays, so please send me a reminder if you do not receive a reply in 24 hours.

Announcements

1/24/22: The first lecture is on Wednesday, Jan 26 at 2pm, in Smith-Buonanno Hall Room 201.

2/17/22: There is no class on Monday, Feb 21 (President's Day). I am not observing office hours as well, but you can always ask questions by email.

2/23/22: The class on Friday, Feb 25 will be delivered virtually on Zoom, due to the winter storm. It starts at 2pm, the usual time.

2/25/22: The recorded lecture on Friday, Feb 25 has been uploaded on Canvas, in the Media Library.

2/25/22: The current version (Version 6) of the lecture notes below corresponds to the coverage of the first midterm.

3/2/22: Lecture notes were updated: the previous version was missing the first three chapters.

4/25/22: The last lecture is on Wednesday, May 4. There is no class on Friday, May 6.

4/29/22: There will be a Q&A session on Monday, May 9 at the lecture time (2-3pm), if there is demand. This replaces the office hours on that day.

5/8/22: Q&A session cancelled. I will observe the last office hours on Monday, May 16 (12pm-2pm) in my office.

5/15/22: A full version of the lecture notes has been uploaded.

Office Hours

My office hours are 10am-12pm on Mondays (starting from Jan 31), in Kassar House (Math building, 151 Thayer Street) Room 019.

It is in the basement, ask to the department office or send me an email if you cannot find a way to the basement.
