If denied: full-storage features are limited; core browser features remain available.
2.2 PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS (Usage Access)
Purpose: to display recent app usage and sorting in the App Management screen.
How granted: you must grant it manually in system Usage Access settings.
If denied: this specific feature is degraded; core browser features remain available.
2.3 Other Common Permissions
CAMERA: for QR scanning.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO: for media file access.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (legacy Android versions): for backward compatibility.
3. Firebase and Third-Party Services
As of this policy update, no Firebase dependency is detected in the current project codebase.
If Firebase services are integrated in future versions (e.g., Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config), we will:
clearly disclose the change in release notes and this policy;
process data only on a lawful, legitimate, and necessary basis;
provide controls to limit data collection where applicable.
