The Minnesota Valley Chapter is dedicated to protecting the environment and wild spaces along and near the Minnesota River. The Chapter's programs include:

 The Green Crew

Our new youth-led conservation service team is receiving national attention for their innovative, science-based environmental leadership development program. The Crew's project teams, leadership team, and executives each meet monthly to plan and organize meaningful projects which make the world a better place.

 Project Days

Every month the Green Crew hosts a project day on the third Sunday open to all members, neighbors, and friends. Example projects include rewilding, water quality testing, fungus diversity study, native tree planting, invasive species removal, pollinator garden planting, trail building and more! Join us for the morning session 10-Noon, the afternoon session 1-3, or both!

 The Kouba Gallery

Launched in January 2023, the new Kouba Gallery in the Chapter House showcases local wildlife and nature artists. We have a monthly opening from 1-4pm on the second Sunday of every month.

Educational Events

The Chapter sponsors regular educational events. Guest speakers, videos, and discussion groups. We have featured speakers on Fungi, climate change, green vehicles and environmental twinning, sustainability planning, ESGs and more!

Stewardship Committee

The Chapter's house and grounds are a special resource. Protecting them, and making sure that they reflect the highest standard in environmental stewardship is the mission of this new Chapter committee. We are building on our solar panels and installing heat pumps, changing our use of consumables, and more! Help us explore balancing good environmentalism, responsible financial decisions, and clean living as part of this initiative.
