Site Coordinator Expectations
College Knowledge Month
At the very minimum, schools interested in participating must devote time and space during the school day for college exploration activities - including support for seniors to complete college applications. College access programs such as College Possible, TRIO programs, Get Ready, AVID, etc. already working within schools or districts can host College Knowledge Month events and serve students within their pre-existing program structure.
Schools, college access programs and postsecondary institutions host a scheduled event at their site for students and family members to complete the FAFSA. These events are usually outside of school hours. They can be held for families of your site only - or open to the public.
Site and Event Registration
Register your site for one - or both - of Minnesota's college-going initiatives using one form. Schools, college access programs, community organizations and postsecondary institutions are invited to participate.
Receive training and resources to plan and coordinate these events at your school. If needed, volunteers are available to assist with your school events.
Visit our Site Coordinator Support page to find information on training sessions and resources available to help you plan, organize and run your College Knowledge Month and/or FAFSA events.
