I'm an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa. I am interested in the areas of marketing analytics, sales force management, digital marketing, machine learning, and behavioral economics. My research focuses on the value of marketing after digitization in three contexts: in marketing-sales interfaces (how marketing analytics can enhance sales performance), in customer interactions (how satisfaction surveys can be used as a strategic targeting tool, what kinds of customer feedback content creators respond to and how the acceptance of feedback is related to the products’ subsequent performance), and in competitions (how the changes in switching costs can bring changes in policies). I received my Ph.D. in Marketing from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and M.Sc. and B.B.A. from Korea University.
