Privacy Policy
Last updated September 25, 2026
This privacy notice for WL Digital (formerly Minimalistic Watch Faces) ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might collect, store, use and/or share ("process") your information when you use our services ("Services"), such as when you:
download and use our mobile game Merge Realms
download and use our watch faces, such as Pixel Style Analog Watch Face, or any other app of ours that links to this privacy notice
contact us, or engage with us in other related ways
Questions or concerns? Reading this notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have questions or concerns, contact us at services.wlsolutions@gmail.com.
Summary of key points
What personal information do we process? We don't require an account, and we don't run our own servers. Our watch faces don't collect personal information. Merge Realms shows ads from Google AdMob and uses Google Play services (purchases, cloud saves, updates). Through them, Google may process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address and device details. If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. See section 1.
Do we process any sensitive personal information? No.
Do we receive any information from third parties? Only what's needed to run the game. For example, Google Play tells Merge Realms when a purchase has gone through, so that it can credit it. We don't buy data about you or receive profiles of you.
How do we process your information? To provide the Services, show ads that keep Merge Realms free, process purchases, back up your progress, answer you when you contact us, prevent fraud, and comply with the law. See section 2.
With whom do we share personal information? With Google, which provides the ads, payments and cloud saves in Merge Realms. See section 4.
What are your rights, and how do you exercise them? Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising. In Merge Realms, you can change your ad choices at any time under Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy choices. For anything else, email us. See section 8.
Table of contents
1. What information do we collect?
In short: our watch faces collect nothing. Merge Realms keeps your progress on your device, and Google collects some device and advertising information when the game shows ads or uses Google Play services.
Watch faces
Our watch faces run entirely on your watch. They don't collect, store or send personal information. Any data a watch face displays, such as the time, date, battery level, steps or heart rate, comes from your watch and stays on it.
Merge Realms
Information stored on your device. The game saves your progress (score, gems, power-ups, unlocked realms and themes, Quest progress, daily reward streak, whether you bought Remove Ads), your settings and the game in progress, so you can pick up where you left off. This stays on your phone and is not sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob). To show, measure and limit ads, and to prevent ad fraud, Google's AdMob SDK in the game may collect:
your device's advertising ID and app-set ID
your IP address, from which your approximate location (such as your country or region) can be inferred
device and app information, such as the phone model, operating system version, language and app version
your interactions with ads, such as which ads you see and tap
Depending on your choices and where you live, this information may be used to show you personalized ads.
Purchases (Google Play Billing). Gem packs and Remove Ads are bought through Google Play, which handles the payment. The game receives only a confirmation of what you bought, so that it can credit your gems or remove ads. We never receive your card or other payment details.
Cloud saves (Google Play Games). If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the game backs up a copy of your progress to Google Play Games' Saved Games, which is linked to your Google account. This lets you restore your progress on a new device. Google stores this copy, and we can't see it.
App updates and ratings (Google Play). The game asks Google Play whether an update is available. If you choose to rate the game, you are taken to Google Play, and your rating and review are handled by Google.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, the game may occasionally remind you to come back after you haven't played for a while. These reminders are created on your phone, and no information is sent to make them.
Information you give us
If you contact us, including through the feedback option in Merge Realms' Settings (which opens your email app), we receive your email address and whatever you write. Feedback emails from the game also include the game version, your device's make and model, and its Android version, to help us fix problems. You can edit or remove any of that before sending.
Diagnostics
If you have allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Google Play may give us aggregated crash and performance reports (such as the device model and OS version when an app crashed). These reports don't identify you.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for or collect your name, contacts, calendar, photos, precise location, microphone or camera. We don't run our own analytics or tracking tools.
2. How do we process your information?
In short: to provide the Services, keep Merge Realms free, answer you, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
We process personal information to:
Provide the Services, including saving and backing up your game progress and delivering in-app purchases.
Show ads. Ads keep Merge Realms free. Google uses the advertising information described above to serve, measure and limit ads, and, where you allow it, to personalize them.
Respond to you. We use your email and message to reply to questions, bug reports and suggestions, and to fix the problems you report.
Protect the Services. For example, to prevent ad fraud and fraudulent purchases.
Improve the Services. We use aggregated crash reports and feedback to fix bugs and improve our apps.
Comply with the law and protect our legal rights.
3. What legal bases do we rely on to process your information?
In short: we process your personal information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so.
If you are located in the EU, UK or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases:
Consent. In these regions, Merge Realms asks for your consent, using Google's consent message, before your information is used for personalized advertising or before information is stored on or read from your device for ads. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time under Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy choices.
Performance of a contract. To provide the game and deliver the in-app purchases you buy.
Legitimate interests. To answer your messages, fix bugs, prevent fraud and keep the Services secure, where those interests are not outweighed by your rights and freedoms.
Legal obligations. Where processing is necessary to comply with the law, such as keeping purchase records or responding to lawful requests from authorities.
If you are located in Canada, we process your information with your express or implied consent, which you can withdraw at any time, or where the law otherwise permits it without consent (for example, for fraud prevention or to comply with a court order).
4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?
In short: we share information with Google, which provides the ads, payments, cloud saves and app distribution in Merge Realms.
Google (AdMob, Google Play Billing, Google Play Games and Google Play). Google receives the information described in section 1 when Merge Realms uses these services. For some of these uses, Google acts as an independent controller of the information. You can learn how Google uses information from apps that show its ads at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and read the Google Privacy Policy.
Business transfers. We may share or transfer information in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or part of our business.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We don't sell your personal information for money. However, allowing Google to use advertising information to show personalized ads may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some US state laws. See section 10 for how to opt out.
5. How long do we keep your information?
In short: only as long as we need it.
Game progress on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data. The cloud save stays in your Google account until you delete it.
We keep emails you send us only as long as we need them to handle your request, and we'll delete them sooner if you ask.
Information collected by Google is kept according to Google's retention policies.
When we no longer need personal information, we delete it.
6. How do we keep your information safe?
In short: we keep as little as possible, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect what we do keep.
We don't run servers or keep databases of user information. The information we do hold, mainly emails you send us, is kept in a secured email account. However, no transmission over the internet or storage technology is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to access your information.
7. Do we collect information from minors?
In short: our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If we learn that we have received personal information from a child under that age, such as an email, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at services.wlsolutions@gmail.com.
8. What are your privacy rights?
In short: depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct and delete your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada, or a US state with a privacy law), you may have the right to:
request access to, and a copy of, your personal information
request correction or deletion of your personal information
restrict or object to how we process your personal information
data portability
withdraw your consent at any time
Controls you can use yourself:
Ad choices (Merge Realms). Where the law requires it, you'll see Google's consent or opt-out options, and you can change them at any time under Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy choices.
Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your device's advertising ID in your device's settings (on most Android devices, Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads).
Remove Ads. Buying Remove Ads in Merge Realms turns off banner ads and ads between games. Rewarded ads only show if you choose to watch one.
Cloud saves. You can sign out of Google Play Games, or delete the game's saved data from your Google account.
Notifications. You can turn off reminders in the game's Settings or in your device's notification settings.
For anything else, email us at services.wlsolutions@gmail.com. We will respond within the time the law requires, and no later than 45 days. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect the lawfulness of processing that happened before you withdrew it.
If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we are processing your personal information unlawfully, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in Switzerland, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
9. Controls for Do-Not-Track features
Some browsers and devices have a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") setting. There is no uniform standard for recognizing DNT signals, so we do not currently respond to them. Instead, you can use the ad controls described in section 8. Where the law requires it, we honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
10. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?
In short: yes. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws have specific rights over their personal information.
