About me
I am currently an assistant professor at the School of Management, Fudan University. I was awarded as a Shanghai young talent and a national-level excellent young scholar of China.
I received my PhD degree from the Department of Analytics and Operations at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School in April 2021, supervised by Professor Melvyn Sim and co-supervised by Assistant Professor Gar Goei Loke. I also work closely with Professor Jussi Keppo. I visited the Laboratory of Information & Decision Systems (LIDS) at MIT during the spring semester of 2020, hosted by Professor Patrick Jaillet.
My research is broadly in the area of Operations Research and Operations Management with a focus on decision-making under uncertainty. My predominant research is to study data-driven optimization models in real-world applications in the domains of healthcare, transportation, and inventory and supply management. I am also interested in the interface of Machine Learning and Operations Research. This includes developing robust predictive models and studying how Machine Learning models can be integrated to management decision problems.
I used to play competitive basketball. I was on the SUTD team and have played in the Singapore University Games. I used to play electric guitar for two bands during my undergraduate study.
