Working my way through Mistlands for the first time and having very little success finding infested mines. I've found one of the long stairway types and one of the seeker infested tower types. I have found probably 8 other dverger towers, half of which are occupied with dvergers and the other half are abandoned but do not contain a stairway down to an infested mine. Is there a trick to finding them... like are towers usually near the water so I can search quickly by boat (going overland in the Mistlands is extremely frustrating due to the terrain and limited sight distance even with the wisplight)?

Is this possibly an issue with the fact that my world was created before Mistlands? I'm still finding decent sized Mistland biomes just not many mines. Any insight would be appreciated.

On Oct. 30, the community is invited to Trick or Treat on Greek Street (formerly Nightmare on Greek Street) for a safe night of trick-or-treating at the fraternity and sorority houses on campus from 5:30-7:30 pm. Other student organizations will be participating and hosting activity booths for the community as well.

So, I've been testing a new trick on Mine-imator, and it did work!

It is a way to have a character blink his/her eyes without a rig

Get over Mine-imator and add a character

Do your animation (A simple one is easier)

After you're finished, duplicate your character (it mustn't have any instances locked to it)

Then, change the skin of the duplicate to the original skin (first character), but without eyes

Go to the keyframes and select whether the first character is visible (also do that for the first one)

Example:

And I thought to myself, "Well, we see these scattered about all over - wouldn't it be cool to find these in one place?" Wait, somebody must have already done this, right? So I did what I do with so many questions and I Googled it. You can do the same, but I figured I'd help by getting you started: Click here to Google "arcgis pro tips and tricks"

I'll kick it off below with another one I learned just this week. We'll ask around the halls here and continue to post some favorites from the the ArcGIS Pro team, but I want to hear from you. Please post YOUR Pro tips and tricks.

One that I just learned about this year that is in plain sight is the View Tab->Windows group->Reset Panes for Mapping (Default). As we know, AGP uses Panes and can become numerous on the left or right side of the application depending how you set up your AGP. By clicking Reset Panes for Mapping (Default), it closes all panes except for the Catalog Pane. Brilliant! So other tips/tricks from a AGP 2.3 blog can be found here.

Ok so I'm in the mines trying to get the 2 chests, but every time I try to get to them I always fall. I can get all the way down the right side but can never get to the ledge that the chests are on. Is there some trick that I don't know to reach them? I've searched everywhere to see if someone already asked this with no luck....

Come on in and explore our Cement Production, Coal-fired Power Generation, and Mining and Minerals pages. You can grab some free goodies for your trick-or-treat bag, like application notes, interactive apps, videos, and even some eBooks. Here are a few to start:

ABSTRACT: Seismic monitoring systems are becoming widely used in underground mines for monitoring mining-induced seismicity, and in highly stressed ground conditions. In many deep mines, the seismic monitoring system is an integral component in managing ground-related hazards. The capital cost of an average minewide seismic system is in the range of $200,000 to $500,000, with typical yearly operating and maintenance costs in the neighbourhood of 20-40% of the capital cost. With this level of cost and associated responsibility, expectations from the seismic monitoring system are high. This paper gives more than 20 practical suggestions on design, installation, operation of seismic systems in underground, hardrock mines. These suggestions will help to realise the maximum possible benefit from a seismic system, and hopefully avoid costly seismic system design errors.

In mineral exploration, salting is the process of adding a valuable metal, especially gold or silver, to a sample from a mine to change the value of the sample with intent to deceive potential buyers of the mine.[1] Examples are the diamond hoax of 1872 and the former Canadian gold company Bre-X. Salting is an example of a confidence trick.

Both mines are 255 levels deep. On each level, you'll find rocks to smash, a ladder that will take you back to the top of the mine, and a ladder that leads down to the next level. This down-ladder is hidden in the dirt floor. To locate the hidden ladder, you need to dig the floor using your hoe, one square at a time. A powered-up hoe will not dig up more squares on a single swing of the tool.

New to this version of Friends of Mineral Town are pitfalls. These holes hide in the floor on certain levels of both mines and will appear once dug up or walked across. A pitfall will drop you between 1 and 5 levels. The more levels you fall, the more stamina is lost. A single-level pitfall drop will expend -20 Stamina, while a 5-level drop will expend -70 Stamina. Remember, once the farmer is out of Stamina points, they'll start to accumulate an equivalent amount of Fatigue points. At 100 Fatigue points, the farmer will faint from exhaustion.

Another quick way to navigate through the mines is by using the elevator. This functionality is added to both mines after you give the Harvest Goddess 100 gifts.Remember that the Goddess will only accept one gift per day. You will know that you have given 100 gifts when the Tremendously Interesting Book has been added to the bookshelf inside of your farmhouse. She will not mention the elevator after you give her the 100th gift. You will need to walk into a mine and then exit back to the surface to trigger a dialog with her about the elevator.

You don't need to wait to unlock the elevator before exploring the mines. The game will keep track of the deepest level you reach pre-elevator, and make the appropriate level stops available after the elevator becomes usable.

As you descend through the mines, smashing rocks and falling down pitfall holes, you'll naturally use up your stamina points. The best way to recover so you can continue your mining journey is to eat food. Food can now be piled together in stacks of 9 in the remake of the game, so it is much easier to bring plenty of meals to cover your entire trip through the mine.

This past weekend was full of tricks and treats at CodeRED Genesis , organized by CougarCS - University of Houston . It began with a bit of trickery from my part, posing a Martian challenge - designed by Zane Hasouris and yours truly - to the more than 300 enthusiastic participants who were introduced to LyondellBasell by Vikas Parikh , and it ended after Fadi Yacob joined us to treat the winners of the first, second and third places to their well-deserved prizes. #TeamLYB #lybproud #learning #CodeRedOdyssey #hackathon #hackathon2022 #lybcareers #LybAdvancingGood #LybConnectNGrow #LybIT #dei #digital

Therefore, it was a great learning opportunity: We hosted a Developer Velocity workshop that touched on how to accelerate software development efforts. As Zane Hasouris pointed out, with less than four hours away, it seemed like a cruel joke to our audience but perfect as a final trick before the treating later that evening.

And so, after finishing trick-or-treating, my weekend came to an end; however, I would like to take some time to thank everyone who made it possible and worked behind the scenes, starting with the members of CodeRED Genesis .

Sales prices for coal mines are depressed but selling a mine cheaply means the former owner is no longer liable for rehabilitation costs. For example, Sumitomo Corporation bought 50% of the Isaac Plains mine in Queensland for $430 million back in 2011. In the middle of 2015, the mine was sold to Stanmore Coal for $1. Sumitomo is now rid of its rehabilitation liabilities.

The Trick-or-Treat Trail at Reed Gold Mine is a family-friendly, non-scary, children's Halloween event. The trick-or-treat trail will lead through the underground mine and will feature several stations where there will be candy and other non-food treats available.

From figuring out what resources the group can use to hauling equipment in and out, down a two-track to the mine entrance so they don't interfere with regular mine tours, working remotely presents challenges designers don't face when operating on campus. In VPA performance spaces like McArdle black box theatre or Rozsa Performing Arts Center, they don't have to clean mud off the equipment. Content design and sound checks are also trickier in the mine.

Ok... so I am making this massive 100 x 100 underwater base... and realized that the Elder Guardian Temples have sponges in them, therefore making less work for me in removing water. So I just went to the temple just for the heck of it... and stupid me, I trapped myself in with no pickaxe nothing... and I keep getting mining fatigue cause of the Elder Guardian... so my problem is, is that I can't mine myself out by hand, and I can't die. Anyone have any tricks or tips to help me get out or even die???? PLZ I need help!

It must also be said that this trick is applicable to other things as well, it can be achieved by restarting in the same way if you have the animations off and if you do it in the same "space" where the following might happen:

Backers of a proposed copper and gold mine in southwest Alaska "tried to trick regulators by pretending to pursue a smaller project with the intention of expanding" after the project was approved, a report released Friday by a U.S. House panel says.

Minesweeper is a game where mines are hidden in a grid of squares. Safe squares have numbers telling you how many mines touch the square. You can use the number clues to solve the game by opening all of the safe squares. If you click on a mine you lose the game!Windows Minesweeper always makes the first click safe. You open squares with the left mouse button and put flags on mines with the right mouse button. Pressing the right mouse button again changes your flag into a questionmark. When you open a square that does not touch any mines, it will be empty and the adjacent squares will automatically open in all directions until reaching squares that contain numbers. A common strategy for starting games is to randomly click until you get a big opening with lots of numbers. 006ab0faaa
