This policy applies to all information collected and/or submitted via the Mind Right app (or website) on the iPhone, Android, and web platforms.
Currently, no user accounts are currently created or required to use the Mind Right app, and no personally identifiable information (PII) is sent and stored in any capacity by the Mind Right app or backend services.
In order to track app usage information, Google Analytics (GA) is used to capture anonymous usage data (examples include: application start events, screen view events, amount of time spent within the application). Per GA policies, no PII is made accessible to the Mind Right app team. The information is used solely to gauge how well the app is doing, where problems with the app might lie, possible features to develop, and similar usage purposes.
Any data entered by the user into the app is only stored locally on the user’s personal device only.
Currently, the Mind Right application is limited in functionality and does not transfer any user-supplied information off of the device. Because of this limited feature set, security is mainly left up to the iOS operating system itself, isolating all locally stored data for use only by the Mind Right application itself.
In the future, if additional features are developed that result in the transfer and storage of user-supplied data, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect the security practices in place that will ensure the safe handling of user data.
Anonymous, aggregate usage data may be shared with outside parties, such as how many people are using the application, and how frequently the app is used on average (examples).
In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, anonymous usage data may be among the transferred assets.
As all user-supplied data is currently stored ONLY on the user’s personal device, any desire to delete data can be done simply by editing and deleting the desired data, or else by uninstalling the application from the device.
We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent. (Currently no personal information is collected)
We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
By using Overcast and providing your information, you authorize us to collect, use, and store your information outside of the European Union.
Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
By using our site or apps, you consent to our privacy policy.
