Welcome to MindGrid ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is processed when you use our mobile application, MindGrid (the "App").
MindGrid is designed primarily as a single-player offline game experience. We do not require you to create an account, nor do we actively collect or store personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise physical location.
A. Game Progress and Settings (Local Storage)
Your gameplay data, including level progress, unlocked chapters, theme choices, and audio preferences, are stored locally on your device (using AsyncStorage). We do not transmit or store this data on our servers.
B. Third-Party Services and Advertising Data
To support the ongoing development and offer the App for free, we integrate Google AdMob to display top banner advertisements and rewarded video advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and process certain device and usage data to serve and optimize ads, including:
Device Identifiers: Such as Android Advertising ID (AAID) or Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
Usage Data: Ad view counts, click interactions, app crash reports, and performance metrics.
Coarse Location: Approximate location derived from IP addresses (not precise GPS coordinates) for localized advertising.
EEA and UK Users (GDPR): Upon first launching the App, a Privacy Consent dialog provided by Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) will be presented. You may choose to grant or deny consent for personalized advertising.
iOS Users (App Tracking Transparency): If you use an iOS device, the App may request permission to track activity across third-party apps for personalized ads. If denied, you can still play the game and watch rewarded ads, though ads may be less relevant.
You can reset your advertising ID or adjust tracking settings at any time via your device's system settings.

MindGrid is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take immediate steps to remove such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or product features. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.
