Mindful Moments operates entirely on your local device. All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API and never leaves your computer.

- Mindful choices statistics (counts of purposeful vs. procrastination choices)

- Goal reflections (daily goals or intentions you write in the goal dialog)

- Custom motivational quotes you choose to add

- Website configuration (which sites you want to monitor)

- Emotion tracking responses (emojis you select when prompted)

- Extension settings (breathing duration, challenge type preferences, theme choices)

- Wellness reminder preferences (custom reminders, frequencies)

- Visual preferences (grayscale filter settings, theme selection)

## Data We Do NOT Collect

- Personal identification information

- Browsing history or website content

- Email addresses or contact information

- Location data

- Any data transmitted to external servers

## Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit any data because we do not collect any data. Everything stays on your device.

## Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

- Data persists until you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data

- You can reset your statistics at any time using the extension's reset function

- Uninstalling the extension removes all associated data

## Website Access

This extension only runs on:

- Major social media platforms

- Websites you specifically configure in the settings

- HTTPS websites only (for your security)

The extension does not access:

## Browser Permissions Used

This extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

- ActiveTab: To display mindful moments on websites you're currently viewing

- Alarms: To schedule wellness reminders at your chosen intervals

- Notifications: To show wellness reminder notifications (these contain only reminder text you configured)

## Browser Notifications

The extension displays browser notifications for wellness reminders that contain:

- Reminder text (e.g., "Take a water break", custom reminders you create)

- These notifications appear outside the browser and use Chrome's standard notification behavior

- No personal data is included in notifications beyond the reminder text

- Notifications are generated locally and don't connect to external services

## Security

- All data processing happens locally on your device

- No network connections are made to external servers

- Extension uses Chrome's secure storage APIs

- Browser notifications are generated locally without external data transmission

- Operates only on HTTPS websites for enhanced security

## Children's Privacy

This extension does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
