MindFlip (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the MindFlip mobile application.

MindFlip is designed to operate entirely on-device. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or contact list.

1.1 Usage & Diagnostics (Optional)

If you choose to opt in, the app may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., number of flashcards created, session length) to help us improve performance and features. These statistics contain no personal data and cannot be linked back to you.

1.2 Local Storage

Your flashcard content, study progress, and settings are saved locally on your device. They are never transmitted to our servers.

MindFlip requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality:

4. Data Security

Because MindFlip stores all flashcard data locally, risk of exposure is minimal. Where optional backups/exports are used, the files remain under your control. We employ industry-standard security practices for any analytics data transferred (e.g., TLS encryption in transit).

5. Children’s Privacy

MindFlip is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Updated versions will be posted in the app and on its Google Play listing with a new “Effective Date”.
