If you want the most secure fit for running, cycling, or navigating busy city streets while staying aware of your surroundings, choose MINDBEAST Open Ear Earbuds; if you need maximum battery life and active noise isolation for focused listening in loud environments, choose LEEMC Earbuds. Both options bring distinct advantages to the table, but they serve fundamentally different lifestyles. One is built for safety and movement, while the other is engineered for endurance and immersion. Deciding between them requires looking past the marketing hype and focusing on the actual specifications that dictate how these devices perform during a phone call, a workout, or a long commute.
• MINDBEAST Open Ear Earbuds: The standout strength is the bi-axial adjustment system that allows for a highly customized, secure fit tailored to individual ear shapes, paired with an open-ear design for situational awareness. Its biggest trade-off is the lack of deep noise isolation, which means ambient sounds will always bleed in. This pick is for runners, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts who refuse to sacrifice safety for audio quality.
• LEEMC Earbuds: The clear winner here is the massive 40-hour total battery life and the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for superior call clarity in noisy settings. However, it uses standard over-ear placement without the flexible articulation found in the competitor, relying on a rigid ABS shell. This pick is for commuters, office workers, and travelers who prioritize long listening sessions and quiet environments.
The MINDBEAST Open Ear Earbuds are engineered specifically for people who need their ears open to the world. If you spend hours on the road jogging or riding a bike, the ability to hear traffic, pedestrians, and sirens is not a luxury; it is a necessity. These headphones utilize an open-ear design that keeps the ear canal unblocked, allowing natural sound to enter while delivering music through a 16mm speaker driver. This driver is notably larger than many competitors, promising a more immersive experience even without sealing the ear, but the primary goal here is situational awareness.

For those concerned about fit, this model offers a unique solution. The bi-axial adjustment feature allows you to rotate the ear cups up and down by 55 degrees and front to back by 45 degrees. This level of customization ensures the device stays put during intense physical activity. Whether you are doing high-intensity interval training or simply walking through a crowded urban center, the silicone materials provide a soft, skin-like feel that rivals traditional wireless headphones without the pressure of in-ear tips.
However, these earbuds are not ideal for everyone. If you work in a noisy open-plan office or travel on a train where engine roar drowns out conversation, the open design might leave you frustrated. There is no Active Noise Cancellation here to block out the chaos. Instead, they rely on Environmental Noise Cancellation to improve voice pickup during calls, but they cannot silence the room around you. You should skip this option if your priority is complete silence or if you find open-ear designs uncomfortable due to the lack of a seal.
The LEEMC Earbuds take a completely different approach, prioritizing power and isolation over situational awareness. With Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, these headphones offer a robust connection that supports high-speed data transfer, which is particularly beneficial when streaming high-quality audio or engaging in video calls. The standout feature for many users is the sheer longevity of the battery. With a claimed 40 hours of total playtime, these earbuds can last through multiple days of heavy use before requiring a charge, making them an excellent choice for long-haul travelers or students who forget to charge their devices overnight.
The inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is a game-changer for those who need focus. Unlike the open design of the competitor, these over-ear buds physically isolate your ears from the outside world. Combined with ENC for calls, the system is designed to filter out background noise so your voice comes through clearly, even if you are in a busy café or on a moving vehicle. The touch screen controls add a modern layer of convenience, allowing for easy management of playback and calls without reaching for your phone.
That said, the rigid construction using Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) means there is no flexibility to adjust the angle of the ear cups like the MINDBEAST model. If your ear shape doesn't match the standard over-ear contour, the fit might be less secure during vigorous movement. Furthermore, the 32-ohm impedance and frequency response suggest a focus on bass-heavy stereo sound rather than the balanced, open acoustic profile of the open-ear alternative. If you need to tune out the world to concentrate or enjoy deep bass, these are the better tool, but you will lose the ability to hear your environment.

• Best for technology specs → LEEMC Earbuds. Bluetooth 6.0 offers a newer, potentially more stable connection standard compared to Bluetooth 5.4.
• Best for comfort sensitivity → MINDBEAST Open Ear Earbuds. The absence of an in-ear seal and the use of soft silicone reduces pressure for sensitive ears.
I would buy the MINDBEAST Open Ear Earbuds for anyone whose primary use case involves being active outdoors or needing to stay alert to their environment. The ability to rotate the ear cups to achieve a perfect fit is a rare feature that solves the biggest pain point of open-ear headphones: falling out. While the LEEMC offers impressive battery life and noise cancellation, the security and safety features of the MINDBEAST make it the superior choice for daily wear, especially for best open ear headphones for calls where hearing your surroundings is just as important as hearing the caller. If I am going for a run or walking through a busy city, I need the freedom to hear the world, and the MINDBEAST delivers that without compromising on sound quality.
Yes, both models support calls, but the LEEMC Earbuds with ANC and ENC are likely better for noisy environments because they actively cancel background noise, while the MINDBEAST relies on its open design to let you hear the caller naturally alongside ambient sounds.
The LEEMC Earbuds offer a significantly longer battery life with 40 hours of total playtime, compared to the 20 hours provided by the MINDBEAST Open Ear Earbuds.
Only the MINDBEAST Open Ear Earbuds feature bi-axial adjustment with rotatable ear cups that move 55 degrees up/down and 45 degrees front/back, ensuring a customized fit that adapts to your head shape.
The MINDBEAST Open Ear Earbuds carry an IPX5 rating, making them resistant to sweat and light rain, which is ideal for workouts. The LEEMC Earbuds do not specify an IP rating in the available data, so they may require more caution during intense exercise.
