CAN THE LARGEST ZINC LOZENGE IN THE WORLD LESSEN THE SEVERITY OF THE COMMON COLD?

The short answer is yes if it's in the form of "Acetate".

In 1979 George Eby's three-year-old daughter receiving immunosuppressive chemotherapy for acute T-cell leukemia would lead him to his groundbreaking research around zinc's effect on fighting the common cold. - History of Zinc Lozenges in Treating and Curing Common Colds

Based on Eby's early research a company began producing a zinc "gluconate" lozenge called “Cold-EEZE”.

I recall how Cold-Eeze seemed to help a bit but I never experienced a significant reduction of symptoms.

I would later read about the Acetate form of zinc which George Eby's additional research proved to more effective than any other form of zinc for lessening the duration and symptoms of the common cold.

Using Eby’s updated zinc "Acetate" formula by Life Extension I completely got it! The cold symptoms were noticeably diminished or completely knocked out. My experience is at the first tickle or suspect sneeze I let one of these huge Zinc Acetate lozenges slowly melt in my mouth every 3- 4 hours and the result is I either don’t get a cold or if I do the symptoms are significantly lessened and the cold passes much quicker.
