What is the Mimi’s House Holiday Gift Program?
Mimi’s House partners with child welfare organizations to identify families in need this holiday season. Families complete questionnaires for their children and children are matched with donors who purchase gifts. Volunteers wrap and deliver the gifts to families before Christmas (or the holiday that the family celebrates).
Individuals or groups can sponsor a child or a family, make financial contributions, or purchase items from our wish list.
How much can I expect to spend on gifts for a child?
It depends on the child’s needs, but an estimate would be between $75 and $150
I don’t have time to shop, but I still want to help. What other options are there?
You can donate directly to our giving page here, these funds will be used to purchase gifts for any children who are not sponsored.
You can also purchase items from our amazon wishlist here: Wishlist
I want to contribute to the Holiday Gift Drive beyond donating gifts. How can I help?
We need volunteers for the holiday season, please sign up here: Volunteer Sign Up
We are also hosting a drive for wrapping supplies and stocking stuffers. We have a number of drop off locations - please email us at holidaygifts@mimishousefac.org
What other items can I donate?

Cardboard boxes (for delivery and gift storage)
I want to do more. How can I help?
Mimi’s House needs help year round.
We accept volunteers (individuals or groups) to sort and organize donations.
Financial donations help us meet the needs of children and expand our offerings.
Socks and underwear are items that we aren’t able to pass on to families second hand. You can host a drive or a donation box for these items.
