Paula Marchionda MD, MPH, BSN
Dr. Marchionda earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of New Mexico before attending medical school at the University of Arizona, during which time she was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. After medical school she completed her internship in Family Medicine in Seattle followed by a master’s degree in Public Health and medical residency in Preventive Medicine at the University of Colorado. She was awarded the American Cancer Society Physician Training Award while at the University of Colorado, enabling her to pursue her interest in cancer control, prevention, and survivorship. Dr. Marchionda has also completed the prestigious Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona's Center for Integrative Medicine, founded by Dr Andrew Weil.
Dr. Marchionda is board certified in Preventive Medicine and Integrative Medicine. In addition she has special interests and training in cancer survivorship, wellness, functional and regenerative medicine. She has also pursued advanced Regenerative Medicine training, including Stem Cell training. In addition, she is an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and provides Acudetox ear acupuncture to her patients and clients as an added service.
Dr. Marchionda is also an assistant clinical professor at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus.
Dr. Marchionda has worked with healers from many different traditions and modalities over several decades and does not align with any particular tradition or call herself by any traditional title other than physician and healer.
Kathleen Hall PhD, APRN, GNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC
Kathleen Hall is a nurse practitioner specializing in therapeutic physical activity programs for older adults and health behavior change. She is currently working in conjunction with Mesa County's Frailty Workgroup to implement frailty measures in long term care, home health care, and outpatient settings. She also teaches in the undergraduate and graduate nursing program at Colorado Mesa University. Kathleen has over 30 years experience in various health care settings.
Nona Wiley RN
Nona has been a nurse for over 11 years, she states “I have been an elementary and middle school teacher and a soldier in the Army National Guard, but being in the nursing profession is where I belong.” Her goals are to care for and love people by giving them care that is real and whole.
Katie Ryan RD
Registered Dietician & Nutritionist
Katie has been a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist in Grand Junction for over 20 years. Her areas of expertise are in cardiovascular therapy, diabetes management, weight loss, cancer prevention and sports nutrition. She has a particular interest, and a wealth of experience, in digestive health and specializes in foods for proper gut health. Katie's diverse experience in the field of nutrition along with her strong interpersonal skills makes her able to translate multiple health issues into practical healthy routines for you.
