Welcome to Our P1 Transition Page

At Milnathort Primary School we provide a play led P1 experience. Play is a fundamental part of childhood as well as an essential element of children’s social, cognitive, physical and emotional development.

Children are given lots of opportunities to explore and learn independently and collaboratively in all curricular areas. Staff observe the children carefully and plan next steps in learning.

We hope this site will give you a flavour of the P1 experience at our school. Over the next few weeks we will add more content to help children and families learn more about our school, and to help prepare the children to start P1 in August 2021.
