Poetry, microfiction and stories written from the heart.
I’m Millie Rose, a writer from Derbyshire. I write poetry, microfiction and creative stories, often inspired by emotions, nature, animals, family and everyday moments.
I’m dyslexic, but I’ve never wanted that to stop me from writing and expressing myself. I tend to write in the moment and from the heart, allowing an idea or feeling to take me wherever it wants to go.
Some of my writing comes from my own experiences and emotions, and I hope that my words and poems can connect with people who may have gone through similar things. If someone reads one of my poems and feels understood or a little less alone, then those words have meant something.
My first poetry collection, Heart felt, brings together poems exploring some of those experiences, and I’m continuing to write, experiment and share my work with others.
