2025 Something Rotten -
The Mill House / Smart's Mill production of Something Rotten is starting to come together. The students are working hard on blocking, singing and dancing, and we are seeing strong progress! The team of all-volunteer directors puts many, many hours into preparing for the show, but the activities during the show weekend cannot happen without the help of your families.
So, it is now time for parent volunteerism to begin! Each family should plan to volunteer their time and donate items to support show efforts. Every family needs to cover at least one show week volunteer slot and donate at least one item and help with a committee task. We have a great group of kids and families, and I'm optimistic that volunteerism will be robust!
We will use Signup.com for show week donations and time slot assignments (like Ticket and Concession sales) and Emails for committee assignments (like Promotion).
In order to choose a slot to volunteer on show weekend, you will likely want to know which role your child is playing in which performance, if it is not the same for all four shows. You can find this information on the Cast List page at: https://sites.google.com/view/mhp-smms-tc/cast-list
There are often a few questions about volunteering and show tickets.
If you want to see the show, you will need a ticket.
(Some volunteer slots do not allow for watching the show, these are clearly marked in the descriptions in SignUp.com)
If you are volunteering, but won't be going into the auditorium then you do not need a ticket.
Thank you for your help and I'm looking forward to working with you! If you have questions or concerns, please contact me directly at SMSchoolPlay@aol.com .
