Milica Jovanović

Hello and welcome to my website! I'm currently a teaching assistant and a PhD student at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mathematics.

I specialize in algebraic topology, and I find joy in exploring the diverse subjects that interconnect within this fascinating field! Right now, I'm working on understanding the singular cohomology of oriented Grassmann manifolds for my PhD thesis. I had the honor of being part of the Women In Topology IV workshop, where I collaborated with amazing women on a joint project. Our project goal was determining the Steenrod algebra action on the cohomology of polyhedral products.

Apart from my research, I really like teaching and aim to get better at it all the time. It brings me happiness to explain both tricky and simple ideas, which is something every teacher enjoys.
